What is GicleePOD's Edition Management?
A sales method that guarantees edition numbers through blockchain and NFC tags, powered by Startrail. Each piece comes with the artist's signed certificate — delivering a truly special experience to your fans.
Startrail
What is Startrail?
Startrail is an art-specific blockchain infrastructure operated by Startbahn, Inc.
It issues a digital certificate called an SRR (Startrail Registry Record) on the blockchain. "Who created it," "which edition number," and "who owns it now" — all become tamper-proof records that remain forever.
What is blockchain?
A distributed, tamper-resistant record-keeping system managed across the world. It doesn't depend on any single company or server, so records remain even if services end.
NFC Tag
How does a physical artwork connect to the blockchain?
NFC tags bridge the gap.
Hold a smartphone to the NFC sticker on the back of the print, and the artwork's SRR appears instantly.
These stickers tear if you try to remove them. The link between the physical work and its SRR remains permanently intact.

When a fan purchases one piece, this is the flow.
An SRR is issued on Startrail
Artwork information and edition number are registered on Startrail, the blockchain.
NFC tag is attached to the print
A unique-ID NFC sticker linked to the blockchain record is attached to the print.
Signed certificate is shipped together
A certificate printed with your signature is included, then shipped to your fan.
SRR is transferred to the buyer
Ownership of the issued SRR is transferred to the purchasing fan.

Simply hold a smartphone to the back of the print, and the SRR appears. At any time, fans can confirm "this is the real No. X."
Blockchain Ownership Record
The record "this edition belongs to me" remains permanently on the blockchain. Proof of ownership the world can see — and that cannot disappear.
